should we have chewing gum at school
should we have gum at school?
Yes we should have gum at school, and here are some reasons why.
First, chewing gum makes your breath smell good. For example if someone else's breath or yours smell bad, you can offer or eat some chewing gum for yourself. (it has to be mint)
Secondly, if your hungry, you can eat some chewing gum. There is also lots of flavours that you can choose from. It will fill you up when you don't even have to swallow it.chewing gum will last longer. You can also blow bubbles so you can entertain yourself.
Chewing gum at school can exercise your mouth by chewing it. Because of its stickiness it makes it a little bit harder to choose. Exercising your mouth could make your teeth strong as well , so you can chew harder stuff like vegetables and more!
In conclusion we should have chewing gum at school.

trip to the zoo
Have you ever been to the auckland zoo before? Well my Habitat Moutere has and now I will tell you what we did. (it was a interesting trip) (also I am very excited to tell you about the trip)
WHen we was on the bus it was SUPER DUPER NOISY! We finally got of the of the bus everyone was quiet. When we hopped of the bus, one of the zoo educators welcomed us and walked us to our meeting spot and there was more zoo educators and their names was Kristy (witch i already said) Sterling and Sarah.
Our habitat learned about 3 different animals. WE splitted into or colour groups (I was in blue). The animals that we had to learn about is the spider monkeys, GAlapagos tortoise and the American alligators. First we went to see the Galapagos tortoise first and it was HUGE! Next we saw the spider monkeys and we learnt, that it has a fingerprint at the end of its tail to grip. Lastly we saw the American alligators, but they were not allowed to go next to each other or else they will fight even though they are sisters.
After we went to our parent/learning Coach (
I was with Aryans Mum) We saw spiders, Monkeys, birds, Giraffes, Ostrich, Rhinos, Lions, Lizards, cheetahs, penguins, Zebras, Kangaroos, Flamingos, Joeys, Meerkats, Kiwis, Red PAndas, Elathants and more.
(Half way we got ice-blocks) (I got lemonade flavour) (Also it was YUMMMM!!!!) It was a fun trip, but i hope we go to the Auckland Zoo again maybe next year!

Sand recount
On monday afternoon literacy time, we all made something with sand. Everyone made a mountain, volcano or other things.
We had to be in our reading groups. I am in silver 2 group.
We made a volcano with a wall and some water. Jonathan got the water, me and Fernanda got a little bit of water. Me Fernanda, Shaayna and Humira built a wall and everyone else built a part of the volcano.
But something bad happened. “3 more minutes” Mrs Lavakula shouted. So we tipped the bucket of water on top it… “Oh no” “oh shoot” people in my group were worried.
So what we did was make a hole. The hole was not big enough, so the other people dug it deeper.
So me, Fernanda and Grace got some more water… when we got back it was the WORST was a crack!
Then all the the sudden Mrs Lavakula shouted “1 more minute” So me and grace go more water and the other people fixed the crack. We finish just on time but the hole was to deep! When we put in the water it just sinked.
The feeling of the sand was soggy, because first it was raining, then people started adding water into the sand.
The reason why was, because it would stick better and better to mld with! I was worried but it was fun!
